Osama will wait until after the election

Ive heard alot of talk about the president waiting until a period closer to the election to reveal his captured prize to the American public.

I have a new theory and i want to hear your thoughts.

After every successful military milestone(Hussein's sons, Saddam himself, etc) , we have seen a spike in Bush's approval ratings. But each occasion has been followed by a return to base levels after some time. Its even possible that the recent surge in Monkey boys numbers could be a result of the "high value" target in Pakistan that turned sour. One thing that seems evident to me is that the amount of time needed before each wave of hysterical patriotism subsids has gotten shorter and shorter on each occasion. People are growing less willing to stay excited about Bush for long periods of time.

So the theory is this, Since the strongest poll point Bush has is the "Stronger on fighting terrorism", Bush will make this the most important issue come November. Bush will ramp up the effort to find Osama and be knee deep into progress propaganda when the election hits and will only "catch" Bin Laden after the election is over if ever.

...Osama want's Bush re-elected, not defeated. Bush is great for recruiting.

2. more likely osama will never be caught

I think that the possibility that he will be caught after the election is good. * could hype it up and capture osama's right hand man right before the election in order to get the votes, then after the election just let the thought of osama escape peoples minds because they will be so busy looking for work and trying to keep their head above water that they won't care who osama is. Just a thought

I still think he'll pull him out in October or something like that. He's probably being held in Rove's underground lair.

Too bad Al-Qaeda has had 2 years to ponder Life After Osama, and have planned accordingly.
