fortunately, their smear campaign will have a distinctly deja vu (veja du?) air to it.

this time, it will LOOK like a smear campaign. with clinton, it just seemed like a bunch of allegations coming from all over, eventually giving many people this feeling that something must be fishy about clinton.

if they do it again, it will look instead like the republicans and the media are gearing up for another smear job. sure, the core republicans will still eat it up, but independents will have a much better shot at seeing through it and dismissing it all.

9. even though it will be a daily effort

to withstand the assault of republican fabrications and manufactured outrage, we need to be ready to get behind THIS preseident and not let them get away with it again. the fact that kerry is an insider and does have friends on both sides of the aisle might be to his advantage. regardless, as one poster pointed out, their partisan attacks might actually be transparent this time.
