What can we do this time about Nader?
In every instance of recent 3-way polls, if you add Nader's numbers to Kerry's, Kerry at worst ties Bush* and in some polls trounces him.

But with Nader in the picture it doesn't look healthy to me. If he's a factor again this time, even if only enough to let BBV and SCOTUS tip the scales, then I vote for outright revolution--storm the ramparts, tar and feather every last bastard, and run 'em all out of town on a rail. (In this sense, I'm a Conservative; I like doing things the old fashioned way.)

This just plain sucks.

2. Listen to him........
He is saying the dems need to take off the tutus, and go after the chimp. The pResident has nothing to run on. His policies are dismal failures. This is the last chance for the Democratic party, maybe the last chance to restore democracy in this country. What are we waiting for? We need to go for the throat!

If all the dems stayed focused on the prize, and never get off message, Nader will mean nothing in this election. He could be an asset if he continues to hammer the chimp.

3. Well, usually when someone farts in polite company
everyone just IGNORES it. I suggest we do the same for old gasbag Nader.

4. Your post...
...is a great example of a party lost in the wilderness and too bitter to accept advice.

- Republicans could teach you a lesson about how to bring third parties into the fold instead of rejecting and alienating them.

- The Democratic party has already lost most of its traditional base because of the corporate whores who control it. Expect to lose even more if Bush* 'wins' in November.

6. Nader already said to vote for Kerry
people have the right to vote for whoever they want. Personally, I think its good that he's out there railing against Bush and trying to force the Dems to recognize their faults. Those people should vote for Kerry but we need to address their issues and concerns too.

Go Kerry!

7. Most Nader voters might not be swayed by the
"It's time to unite behind one party" arguement, even if they're sick of Bush. As I read in an earlier post somewhere on DU, Kerry has a lot of good points, and it's worth pointing them out. After all, this is not one of those "the lesser of two evils" elections. Kerry would make a great president!
