The streaming feed drops out once in a while because they can not broadcast some
things over the internet without paying for them. When the stream drops out, they are
running commercials on the actual radio stations. These commercials can not be broadcast
on the internet, to do so would cost a small fortune.

When the commercials are done the stream comes back on. It is not a problem with the stream
or your computer.

a throwback to the 1950s comedy of "bob and ray". an homage. al has a bunch in common with their brand of humor. if your not familiar, there should be web sites dedicated to that duo. they were way ahead of their time. but not with rapid fire humor. just very hip in their own way. the subtlties of human behavior etc.

bernie ward's nightly program is like this. except that sometimes you do hear part of the local news and weather and some of the commercials. so it got a little confusing. hopefully, they'll be in denver soon and this won't be an issue. :D we've got a lot of stinko radio stations that they could have. good reception, but who needs religious preaching on 3 or 4 stations at the same time, 24/7. sheesh. i'd rather listen to this satire. they've been great, so far, and only need malloy for late night!

No, it isn't polished and smooth yet, but it is showing real promise.

Just to hear people say what I think in the media makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. It does get boring after awhile, knowing how evil
the Bush cabal is, and hear pablum on the tv set.

My hope is that this starts driving the agenda in the way right wing radio does. Perhaps by spotlighting stories, it will encourage the lazy, intellectually uncurious press corps of actually following up on some of these things.

To paraphrase- I think there are going to be more people coming forward besides Richard Clarke who will have to say, we were wrong, we screwed up. 19 guys with (however much $$) defeated us, they defeated every measure we had in place. The FAA was surprised when this happened. And Bush was saying they wanted to change the policies the Clinton admin. had in place, then why are they now saying 'we were just going' along with what the Clintons suggested?

Also will pursue line of questioning regarding the Saudi family, who and why they were allowed to fly out without questioning. "These were relatives of Bin Laden and his family. There were any number of qquestions that could have been asked... They should have been held for questioning."

I think was sorely tested last week, including extension beyond the election. was a remarkable presentation. His argument goes right at the heart of the Bush policy.

Bob Kerrey has a tough voice to nail right mikewise. He has a lot of resonance in the lower range of his voice, but he spends most of his speaking time in his upper range. If they simply turned up the mike his voice would smack you when he drops into the lower range.

It one of those tweaking things that just takes practice on the board.
