California recall is another republican coup. We need to Wake up!!
I'm sure that Ahnold has absolutely no ties to the White House. The same White House that worked in concert with Enron to help Enron make up it's losses, which in the end was 500 million, but if you factor in Californias raping, it was more like 15 and a half billion.

Bush and Co. has been trying to grind down California ever since Bush announced that he will run for pResident. From the phony energy crisis to the skewed tax cuts and lack of tech friendly White House, and the fact that Bush is starving the States because there is a Democratic majority leadership in all State Houses. In fact, A little over a year ago, The governors met with Bush and asked for relief, and the thief told them to go to hell.

There is a vast right wing conspiracy that is ruthlessly attempting for total control over all branches of Government. They already have Florida, Texas, perhaps New York, all that is left is the golden calf of California. God help us if they accomplish their goals.

A little more info about Ahnold. He was behind Pete Wilsons campaign for both of his elections, Pete Wilson was before Gray Davis. Pete Wilson was also the one who de-regulated energy in California, which led to the Bush/Enron robbery. And somehow, Davis is getting blamed for this. In fact, Ahnold blamed him last night and the damn nazi knew full well that it was his buddy Pete wilson who has screwed California.

Nooo, Ahnold is not controled by special interest, he is the special interest. Do you think it a coincidence that Dick Cheney came out of hiding yesterday and was on C-Span, at a California fund raiser. Coincidence? I think not.

If Ahnold steals California, watch as the feds open the spigot and floods the State with so much money that people will be swimming in it. And everyone will think that only Repugnants can run the State.

So far the dems are playing their usual rolling over and playing dead. Our leadership is letting us down, letting Davis dow, letting down all of them fine liberals in the liberal bastion of California. Pathetic, i'm getting depressed.

1. Did you just realize this?
Republicans will do whatever it takes to keep and gain power.
Maybe that will come as another shock to you.

2. No, I've known this for some time.
I put it out there for those dems that think that Ahnold is a straight shooter. He lied out his ass last night on Leno.

6. Darn tootin'
I remember that nazi Wilson so well. He's also the one who said that poor people don't love their children otherwise they wouldn't have so many "read: Mexican Roman Catholics, single black women). Damn though, I wish Davis would turn into the Hulk or something and kick those whinny losers out of our state. By the way, where'd you find those cool posters, I want to print them out and send to republicans. thanks.

3. I don't know about that last bit
See, the way I see it is that the recall will
be a net plus for the Democrats. It gets rid
of someone who would weigh down the ticket while
keeping a Democrat in the state house.

No matter how rich and famous Arnold is, he
still has to deal with a lot of competition
in the Republican side. Riordan will come
gunning after him for backstabbing him and
that will draw away moderates, while Issa
and Simon will grab the right wing of the party.
The umpteen billion other candidates will
draw away the independent vote, and leave
the Republicans sitting at the bottom of
the heap.

Meanwhile, the Democrats have the option of
voting against the recall and FOR a Democrat.
The only competition Bustamente will face on
the Democratic side is Huffington and the Green,
and that's not worrying.

If Davis wins, fine. We have status quo, and
there's egg on the face of the GOP.

If he loses, even better. The GOP loses a straw
man, we get a Hispanic governor in Cali to drive
up the latino vote/turnout (70% planning to vote dem next
year), and the GOP shoots itself in the foot.

End result: yes it is a right-wing coup,
but one that we can win easily.

4. Republicans are Facists...
and who better to have lead them than Fuher Ar-nuld!
The Repugs have decided that only they have a right to control the power in this country.

By the way, Ar-nuld is a lying sack of S-H-I-T!!!!!!!

5. recall
The Republican power machine is no longer using subterfuge. They are blatant about it. This is what is all about. POWER in the wrong hands. This country is fast becoming a laughing stock to the rest of the world. On a.m. TV this morning Arnold was first up, then Kobe, then as an afterthought--Oh, 2 more soldiers killed. The media must have their priorities.

11. Thanks LG****You are right
Its a pretty overwhelming deal right now. It would be nice to have some leadership to help us. We probably do, but the media is great at giving us Kobe Bryant and all the important things that really matter, brought to you by the Republican Party of the United States.

I think one thing that could help would be using the Meetups for DU Californians to meet state wide. Im with you. This recall is WRONG AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. And Gray Davis, like him or not is being wronged. And these Democrats that are stabbing him in the back like Loretta Sanchez and our Lt. Governor havent a loyal bone in their body apparently which DU's and all Californians should file away and remember come their election time.

13. I believe it
I dunno about Schwarzenegger's role in this (why is his wife letting him do it?), but they are definitely targeting the big states - first Texas and Florida, now California. They seem pretty pissed about Illinois as well. They are looking at the long term and getting rid of as many Dem presidential prospects as possible.

i was thinking of this the other day too and can see this happening. but they will be giving it to us with one hand, and taking it back with the other.
