Hartford, CT area - Air America out of NYC is listenable
Listened to Randi Rhodes for about 45 minutes in the van this afternoon between 5:10 and 5:55 or so. Pretty good show, though it wasn't always 100% clear when driving off the highway, and unfortunately, I cannot get 1190 AM on in my house...

1. Is 1190 the only station in CT that carries it?
I live about 45 minutes from NYC so I should be able to get it. I get all the am and fm stations from NYC and Long Island so I should be cool. Is it on all day or just at certain times? Sorry, if this is a stupid question but I'm not sure.

3. I travel the area nightly and 1190 is very weak.
I don't think it is a 50,000 watter like 660, 770, or 880.

5. A good directional antenna will pick up WBAI in central Pennsylvania!
Terk makes a very good directional antenna for tuners/radios with outboard antenna connections:
