I joined the Democratic Party in November '03. I was a registered Independent for the 22 years I had been registered to vote.

Living in a state like Oklahoma,it was a little frightening to be a liberal. For all those years,I titled myself a "pro-labor,moderate Independent".

After this short time,I now proudly spout "I'm a Liberal Democrat" if anyone asks. I don't give a shit anymore what anyone thinks,that is what I am. I realized I have felt this way for a long time,now I'm wearing it loud and proud!
