After the recall - Wha happens?
Let's try two different situations:

1. Davis is recalled and Bustmante wins the 'replacement' ballot. What will Issa and his KLAN do? Try another recall against HIM??? Run off and cry and sue the state to get his money back? Does Cruz appoint a replacement Lt. Gov or does the office remain open?

2. Recall defeated and Davis stays. What will the AFL-CIO do to Cruz for "daring" to run in the recall? (sorry but that PISSED me off when I read that) Bush declares war on California and overthrows the Gov? (as if they aren't trying now)

1. my hunch is that if Davis is recalled, and regardless of who ....
wins the office, if another recall is attempted anywhere in the next couple years, people will be pretty much turned off by that and will vote against the recall.

We need to give this recall everything we've got and attempt to keep Davis in office and should that fail, replace him with a reasonably popular Democrat.

2. The never ending recall.
I know that Willie Brown has stated that he'll start a recall if Davis is removed and replaced by a Repug.

3. The Democrats should portray Davis as a political martyr
who was usurped or beat back an attempt to usurp by the Greedy Oily Pigs that are now the Republican Party.

Let's see how long a Repuke lasts out there.
