I authored a thread, expressing my (admittedly negative) OPINIONS concerning your new rules, hopefully giving others a chance to agree, disagree, comment, etcetera.

I did not ask a specific question of the management.

Yet the thread was locked down because you "already responded."

Unfortunately, it was the DU members from whom I really wanted to hear, so please unlock the thread, and let free speach have its day.
