what the hell is Arnold thinking
more important, what is Maria thinking...? Maria...a strong Democrat...Are we all gonna wake up and find that this is Arnold's new reality show, "who wants to be the next California governor?"

Geeze...what a joke. I like the guy, in the movies that is, but politics is not his forte'.

Why hasn't the reason for this recall, other than bad budget problems, be brought to the forefront. What is this recall all about? I am not in California so I want to know. It's no secret 52 electoral votes for 2004 can 'pad' a presidential candidate when their is a GOP governor.

2. This might be Arnold's best shot-
He could make it into the governor's office without ever having to participate in a debate with an opponent.
Since I'm not a Cali-forniare, I have to ask- has there been any mention about the possibility of candidate debates before the recall?

3. Thank You devcr243...
for understanding the importance of this. By the way it's 53 electoral votes now!
Arnold is a threat because the GOP will use his celebrity status to prop him up. Suddenly Sean Hannity has no problem with celebrities in politics. These Bastards must be defeated!

4. Doubt that he IS thinking
politics sounds like a fun thing, and good publicity.

I don't know that he has any idea how rough it can get, and it wouldn't surprise me any if he pulled out again.

He was off again, on again with this announcement so sticking to it may be just as iffy.

Good publicity for his latest movie though. ;-)

11. Politics used to be fun
until it got deadly.

911 changed that, unfortunately.

Now everything seems to based on who can "terminate" the enemy (sorry for the pun) and not about taking care of us--US--those of us who pay taxes and want to keep social security in tact.

9. Ahhhhhhhhhhhnold.....................
has taken over her mind as well as her body (she looks horrible IMO, like skeletor). I think she was blinded by all of those steroid produced muscles, he has all the warmth and charm of a block of granite. Body by "Ahhhhhhhhnold"; mind by "moron".

12. The Pundits He Sucker Punched Are Saying This A.M.
that he had been set NOT to do it, but that FEINSTEIN's announcement NOT to swung him around-------sounds sort of IMPULSIVE.

Tweety was in a twitter this morning, loving every cartoon of maleness. He was in the forefront of the media whore adoration of Jesse VENTURA, and whup--Tweety does it again.

14. Republicans are such hypocrites.
Nude pictures of Arnold, steroid use of Arnold and womanizing? He's a perfect Democrat!

My guess is he wasn't going to run until he had his talk with Karl Rove. They want California's electoral votes badly.

15. Side effects of steroid abuse.
http://liftforlife.homestead.com/SteroidAbuse.html

<snip>

"NIDA-supported research shows that aggression and other psychiatric side effects may result from anabolic steroid abuse. Many users report feeling good about themselves while on steroids, but researchers report that steroid abuse can cause wild mood swings including manic-like symptoms leading to violent, even homicidal, episodes. Depression often is seen when the drugs are stopped and may contribute to steroid dependence. Researchers reported also that users may suffer from paranoid jealousy, extreme irritability, delusions, and impaired judgment stemming from feelings of invincibility."

Maybe Ahnold is on a 'roid high and actually thinks he can win this thing.
