bush*...this war will NOT be televised....no further coverage...

the bush* cabal realized that this indefinite war is hurting bush* re-election, so the easiest thing to do is NO MORE NEWS COVERAGE...

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- An American civilian delivering mail to the U.S. Army died yesterday when his truck was blown apart by a remote control bomb north of Tikrit, the military and his employer said.

Also, angry residents of the city of Fallujah attacked a police station for the second straight day, slightly injuring an American soldier who joined Iraqi police in trying to fight off the attackers, who were armed with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons.

The crowd was dispersed after a firefight. There were no immediate reports of Iraqi casualties. Fallujah, in the so-called "Sunni Triangle" in central Iraq, has been a center of anti-U.S. sentiment.

Could be a reason for the slowdown in news:

On Monday, the 3rd ID commander, Maj. Gen. Buford Blount, decided to stop allowing reporters to spend time with his troops, other than to gather information for pre-approved “news features,” according to an e-mail response from Lt. Col. Birmingham, 3rd ID spokesman in Baghdad.

The 3rd ID is “no longer embedding media for short stays, effective the beginning of this week,” Birmingham said.

The only exceptions to the policy will be made for three journalists who were embedded with the unit during the war and have subsequently returned, Birmingham said.

Before the pullout we were getting regular reports on troop morale and the less than stellar resupply situations they were enduring, with commentary from the soldiers themselves. That's stopped.
