Just wondering... It's sold out.
VICE PRESIDENT GORE: POLICY ADDRESS 11am, Thursday, August 7th Eisner and Lubin Auditorium Kimmel Center for University Life, 4th Floor 60 Washington Square South (at LaGuardia St.) New York
Dear MoveOn Member: You are invited to attend an important speech on Iraq this Thursday morning by former Vice President Al Gore. Gore will also address the economic and environmental challenges facing the country.
MoveOn will host the event at NYU. The speech will follow on a powerful address Gore gave last September, when he took on the Bush administration for its unilateralism. Gore warned then that a pre-emptive strike on Iraq would distract America from its war on terrorism and "weaken our ability to lead the world." This week's speech will build on that address. As a highly active and committed MoveOn member in the New York area, I wanted to give you first dibs on seats for this free event, which will take place at 11 am on Thursday, August 7th, at the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium at NYU.
Tickets are first come, first serve, and we expect them to go fast: you can reserve slots for yourself and one guest by clicking below. We suggest you arrive by 10:30 as the speech will start at 11.
Writer's note: Tickets were sold out within 4 hours
