America has been Mis-Lead
This as a general theme we need to use in the 2004 election campaign.
George W. "The Junta" Bush campaigned in 2000 on the idea that he was above all else, a "leader" and a uniter; we need to point out that he has lead us to a very bad place, and united the world against us- showing just how he managed to do it.
In short- We have been Mis-Lead. From Day 1.
We(well, not us, but the rest of the sheeple) were mislead into believing that tax cuts to the wealthiest of the wealthy would create jobs, good jobs, any jobs.
We were mislead into an unecessary war in Iraq, in a number of ways- As pointed out and enumerated by Al Gore in his speech today- which is where I realized what a great, simple & to the point- yet all-encompassing slogan it can be.

1. Ok, I get it.
A Miss-Leader. Meanwhile...back at the ranch. What real news
are we missing because of The California Carnival and all
the Media Barkers?

2. Well
I guess. If that's the only way to go for the Dems. But they're going to have to back it up with fact and numbers. But my concerning is, some people are turned off by mudslinging. And if you do this you'll be doing the Repugs work for them. They won't need to campaign because the "Dems are showing how petty they can be." That's what they'll say on Fox and all over the Net.

Instead of name calling and feel good slogans maybe we should define our campagn by what we would do different/better.

5. The numbers are there to back it all up.
and feel good slogans is what the sheeple seem to respond to best.
But yes, along with pointing out how we have been mislead, we need to lay out the direction that we would take on each issue.
Besides, it's not "midslinging" to point out what a horrendous job the guy at the top is doing- and if you want to take the country in a new direction, you kind of have to explain why.

4. I like it, but let's be honest.
America wasn't mis-lead. America knew damn well that Bush was lying to them, the whole world was out in the streets pointing out the truth. But Mr. and Ms. America didn't care. Afghanistan wasn't enough to satisfy their blood lust for dead sand negroes.

Afghanistan wasn't enough proof to the world that America suffers from a small psychological penis. Noooo, We wanted to show the world how big and bad we are, that is until the American body bags started coming home. Then all of a sudden it wasn't a damn video game anymore, a damn movie played out in a land far, far away, that we get to see from the comfort of our easy chairs.

Noooo, my little friend America knew damn well that Bush was lying, the world told them so. But that's not what they wanted to hear. I'm just glad that the crazy mother fucker in the white house hasn't nuked anyone yet.

6. If that's so-
my humongous friend, then why has the little dictator's approval numbers stayed so high? Those of us here haven't been mislead, but if you were out there talking to the average American moran, you'd have seen that they were quite content with being led to slaughter.
