I watched Al Gore's speech instead!!! Oh my God.....It felt sooooo good hearing a SANE person again....and someone with INTELLIGENCE! I will never understand why people think bu$h is so great. 12. I guess the news of the interview was

that Larry asked Ann if the rumor that she was going to sign some giant deal to write a series of books was true, and she said yes. They didn't say what books though.

Larry looked a bit extra dim when he asked for just one name of a Soviet agent McCarthy named and she rattled off 2-3.

It's a pretty bad idea generally if you're trying to get someone, which Larry clearly was last night, to ask questions that you don't know the answer to.

and with an evil glint in her eye and a sly grin on her face proceeded to devour it on air.

In other words, it was a pretty typical Ann Coulter appearance.

was the only one I caught. When Larry asked her how she can condemn the deficit in California and not blame Bush for same. I swear, there was a good five second pause where she just starred blankly into the camera. I thought her face plate was going to pop off and smoke was going to start pouring out of her ears. I missed the interview, but when I turned on Larry King later in the hour, after she was off, a RW caller called in and called King's "treatment of Coulter disgraceful" so I would assume he really went after her with some tough statements and questions!

16. Larry King is usually...

rather neutral in his interviews, but I saw him being
rather testy with Ann. I think her accusations of
treason were extreme in his view and it showed by
his questioning. He was not prepared well to challenge
her assumptions though, she is practiced and prepared
for all attacks and that is not how Larry works. Still
I saw her famous masculine adams apple bobbing around
a few times and her eyes go all owl looking while she
was nervously searching for the right words at times.

17. Ann Coulter remains popular on these shows because of DU'ers who hate her!

I bet everytime she appears a huge ratings spike shows up in the Neilson's or whatever they use to rate the cables. It's because Progressives show up in droves to wait to see if someone will finally trash the witch. When no one does successfully, folks pile back on DU and post about how awful she was and how no one will put her down and shut her up.

So, she's a "crowd pleaser," in a perverse way. I won't watch any programming she appears on. I don't want to give her or those who promote her any ratings. But Hey! It's a free country.....what's left after Ashcroft......
