4. Good question, let's dissect the 53%

23% is his Christian, right to life base.
20% are just dumb white men
10% is the richest 10% of the nation benefitting from his tax cuts.

5. I'd bet a good bit of that "support" comes from a "support the troops"

mentality - feeling it a patriotic duty to "support the resident" at a time of armed robbery, er, I mean "war."

I'm in SC, and I don't know anybody that'll speak up for the moron. (tho trying to turn a "do you actually agree with that idiot bush?" question into a Clinton-bashing session is still pretty common).
