Draft Clark on C-span 12:15 pm est
I never did get around to reading the new rules. Here goes nothin'. Five sentences. The campaign to draft General Wesley Clark is on C-span at 12:15 pm EST, that would be about now. Here's a chance for you who have questions to check it out. The program aired earlier. I think it went rather well. What do/did the rest of you think? There, that should do it.

7. Thanks for the response. I kind of thought that Matthews would..
say something like that. Surely Cokie didn't agree. Did she?

3. Talking heads today implied only Clark could beat Bush
Said Southern and either military or Bible person or both (meaning only Carter and Clinton post JFK) have been able to win as a Dem.

Very weak thinking - but they are just media.

On the other hand by virtue of being media, what they think has a large chance of being real at a later date.

That is why the GOP has offerred op $2 billion for 100% control of 80% of Hispanic broadcast media (does anyone think Bush folks will not approve the Univision meger?).

Hollywood productions follow the script - and perhaps Clark is the only possible hire for the 04 production that has a Dem that wins as the plot?

4. It isn't Bush that has to be beat.
Bush is inept so you have to look at what got him there-the media and special interests. Those are the elements that have to be beat.

8. True. So far the media appears to like Clark... I don't think...
the special interests will have any use for him though.
