Gregory Hines passed away

Just announced on CNN. He was 57 and had cancer.

3. I was shocked to read about this....
He is one of my favorite talents -- I am sorry that I never got the chance to see him perform in person.

His number from "Porgy & Bess" in "White Nights" ALWAYS blew me away -- he had old school talent that you don't see too often these days.

And he wasn't too bad on the eyes either! I had a major crush on him for years. :)

We lost an amazing performer today.

I had no idea he had cancer. I am so sorry to hear about this as he is one of my favorite performers. Talent unmatched.

No wonder we haven't seen him in many performances of late.
