i had breakfast with dennis kucinich this morning....
....he spoke at a house meeting early this morning and then he left for a cnn appearance. and all i can say is, "kucinich is the one!". this is the guy we need to nominate.

i also saw him at the rally for radical change put on by the campus greens in austin last nite. the greens basically came out and endorsed him. i have never seen a crowd of greens get so excited about a dem candidate. when he came out to speak, the place exploded with a standing ovation. after his speech, he jumped off the stage and was mobbed by the crowd, tons of greens trying to shake his hand or hug him.

the rally was emceed by jello biafra. it was very cool.

1. You lucky person!
I've seen him in person twice and everytime it's standing ovation after standing ovation. I think the machinery is gettin seriously frightened about all the deep, committed, issue-oriented passion he's inspiring.

What did he speak about and what kind of questions did he get?

So happy for you!

2. i've been a huge kucinich fan for a couple years....
....he's been my first choice since he entered the race. as of late, all the "he's not as electable as dean" B.S. has been bothering me and i even questioned it myself. but he renewed my faith in him this weekend.

he is definitely electable. he is still saying everything everyone else is afraid to.

4. I saw Dennis on CNN and I must say he was great!
Dean supporter, but gotta give credit where credit is due. If Dean doesn't get the nomination, I'd vote for Kucinich.

5. That's great to hear!
I'm so happy more people are following this great man. He is as close to a modern day Gandhi as an American can be and still work within the political system.
