I just caught mid-day repeat of Dem Debate.....Observation
I think Lieberman, Gebhardt and Kerry need to get more energized. I've seen them in other debates and there is a tired demeanor..sort of comes across like "we've said this all before," to me. I know they actually "have" been saying it all before since they have been on the campaign trails for years....but they need to get some spirit going FGS!

The others are very energized and even Carol Moseley-Braun who is a sweetheart and not a "jump out of your seat to make your point type" seemed more enthusiastic from her gut about healthcare, Nafta, and job losses that the above three did.

And it seemed to me the audience of Labor Union members responded much more enthusiastically to the rest than they did Gehardt Lieberman and Kerry. Every time job losses, the "selection," Iraq Invasion or trade issues were mentioned it seemed the audience would whistle and clap much harder.

I think all of our candidates are really good. The best field I've seen in a long time. But, when what were thought to be the three front runners look like they are bored, and can't pretend enthusiasm, it doesn't speak well for them over the long haul.

1. Yes, I agree
Their campaign rallies are as sedate as the International Answer rallies are insufferable. I am a political junkie, but I cringe when I watch any of them.

What is holding back our candidates from reading from one of the Washington Post articles damning the Iraq lies or a juicy Paul Krugman commentary?

2. No One else thought they were "tired?" Out of it? Maybe it doesn't matter
and if it doesn't matter that worries me......

Energized or Asleep? Which........and why are the "Big Three" asleep?
