I thought for sure I had heard this, and even have this "memory" of babs being asked about it in an interview and she said, that it happened so long ago, she had almost forgotten about it.


I have searched and searched and all I have found is something about a broken engagement......

4. i just finished

reading "fortunate son", the unauthorized bio last week on vacay. he was never married but was engaged. i can't recall the name or circumstances and my son is reading it now but no, never before married and yes, previously engaged.
