http://www.tribstar.com/display/inn_news/news01.txtSam Mody awoke to the familiar sound of a ringing phone.
A guest had arrived at the Super 8 motel just north of the Twin Lakes in Paris, and Mody climbed out of bed to check in the early morning traveler.
With the registration form completed and the guest provided a key, Mody returned to his bedroom just after 2:30 a.m.
Soon, he heard a sound, then shouting.
Within seconds, men in masks dressed in dark fatigues poured into the bedroom where Mody, his wife Rita and their 3-year-old daughter were sleeping. Machine guns drawn, they announced they were police and were there with a federal search warrant to look for explosives.
"I got dragged from the bed onto the floor," said Mody, who was cuffed with plastic ties before being led into the motel lobby.
