BushCo's America is already bad enough but on top of the assults on democracy and the constitution the criminal neglect of social services and any plan to create a strong economy with jobs is devistating to many.

Here is a snapshot of some who find themselves falling through the ever widening cracks.

1. "With 9 million unemployed workers in July,"
And the Bureau of Labor Statistics only counts one as unemployed if one has looked for a job in the past month. If your last interview or resume mailing was five weeks ago, your're not unemployed.

2. This goes to the income/wealth gap debate
over the past couple of days here. Read the article. Phrases like "jobless recovery" are just code words to diffuse the horrendous truth of the split between haves and have-nots. Yeah, a recovery in name only, IE corporate profits on the rise due to cutting cost at the expense of the working class. Working people homelessness on the rise and yet housing prices still escalating! Who the fuck is pushing this housing market, who can afford the payments? One thing you can be sure of, they are recipients of Bush's tax cuts.

3. hmm, that latest washington post survey
(the one that claimed 59% approval rating for bush) said their data was based on 1000 random phone calls. i guess if you poll by phone, you won't count homeless people...
