Here they go again, 9/11 is Clinton "fault"
"victims of the war Clinton chose not to fight"

(on another message board which is supposed to be apolitical..)

I know that we talked about this many time... can someone give me a quick and dirty reply? I know that no matter what Clinton did, the pugs talked about him "wagging the dog." Also, I know that he DID take some actions against Al-Qadea.

Thanks

1. terra
Those right wingers think we are at War with Terra,
How can you be at War with a Bushism?
Congress has not declared War, so we are NOT at War
At Least Clinton kept him in line

just to balance the field a little, you know?

4. I don't recall specifics, but it might explain 9/11...
but Clinton not only had a 5 year strategy for true peace in the Middle East that wasn't tantamount to bombing the feces out of everybody but had plans to fight Osama.

Repukes shot both of these down.

The next time these fuckers blame CLinton for something, I'm going to look up the behind the scenes scoop. I betcha repukes were the ones who voted everything down.

I wonder if the repukes' constant turndowns of Clinton helped result in 9/11 allowing to happen?

5. Waco, '93 WTC bombing
These were when Clinton had been in office for BARELY a month!

Yet Clinton never blamed them on Poppy Bush.

6. Thanks, I used some of your ideas
Interesting that almost four years since he left office, the pugs are still obsessed with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Problems with confidence and self-esteem, I would say.

8. Yeah, they dropped this tactic for a while
When the September 11 Commission hearings were turning up damning information about Bush's inaction, all of a sudden it was, "Seriously, no one could have had the foresight to prevent the attacks."

Now that the hearings are out of the news, it's back to the same old tired BS.

9. Hearing results will be back in news soon.
If I remember, they are supposed to be released the end of July. Since this is June, we're talking SOON! I don't expect their results will directly at the Shrub, but it's not going to improve his image either. I still think they are going to take out the CIA Director. I also think quite a few operations are going to be slamed, and HARD. NORAD, FBI, and several more.

10. I doubt that Tenet will be taken out
The CIA was actually doing its job, in that it passed along relevant info to the White House. That fact is often lost, because Tenet has so often willfully allowed himself to be Bush's scapegoat--which is another reason he won't be canned.

Plus, Tenet and the Company know where the bodies are buried. The Bush Admin doesn't want to risk a flood of retaliatory leaks.

11. Did you listen to the hearings? Have you heard the news?
I don't know that I want to condemn Tenet either, but we both know somebody's gonna take the hit. I listened to the hearings....it didn't sound good. I'm also listening to the news. Tenet has no friends. The media can take somebody out in a heartbeat.

I agree with you though about the burried bodies. I wonder if the Admin. would be willing to take the chance of hitting Tenet....could be Shrubs John Dean.

12. The Republicans have become the finger-pointing party ...

that says "We're not responsible for anything."

Damn, we still need a good independent council law.

14. This is a fact.....
And at up-most importance is to make sure Bush NEVER admits to mistakes, is NEVER wrong and to make sure there's always someone else to blame and take the shit, as he will pardon, them if necessary...and to blame Clinton (a democrat) for everything.

After all, the "second coming", the Messiah NEVER can be seen that he makes mistakes...and people believe this.

Rove knows this.
