Interesting description of Bush* from a center-right friend of mine.
He thought a while, and then said:

"He insists the room is painted a different color than it actually is."

1. Correction for your friend:He insists there IS a room when there isn't one
Just a matter of scale, I think. He's getting close to the truth . . .

He was for the war way back when (and so was I until about the end of December 2002), but he's really disillusioned about the WMD's now. He figured back then they must have known about them if they were going ahead with everything; come to find out it wasn't what they were saying. The comment about the paint was actually in reference to how he acts like he hasn't made any mistakes. He said that Bush* "lost" him at some point but I can't remember what it was. The whole conversation got onto politics when he brought up the thing about this idea that the Saudis will lower gas prices later to get Bush* re-elected.

He actually really is a very very moderate conservative, not a Bush* bot or a neocon. Like I would think he'd vote for Kerry just to create some gridlock between the legislative and executive branches to curb spending. He'd be that kind of conservative.

Plus he voted for Clinton twice and then Gore.
