1. Swept under the rug it seems. Might surface after elections but doubtful.

2. As Long as the Issue Returns Before the Election,

I'd rather have it lie low for awhile. It would be very sweet to see several major anti-Bush stories get legs after Labor Day.

But it does seem time for a major announcement on the Plame investigation. Every indication is that they know.

3. The most stuff I read is that the prosecutor has subpoenaed

several journalists, including Tim Russert. Those subpoenas are being fought, I believe.

4. Do you truly believe that even one of the gazzillion investigations

is going to surface before the elections??---except the grand and glorious 9/11 Commission which will be a whole pile of predictable spew.
