2. It's automatically cached to your hard drive when you stream it.
In a temp file. Unless you dump on exit.

10. Search for the file name.

Edit to add: If you don't know the file name, search by file type. It's most likely a RealPlayer file.

For unattended recording:
Lots of control over file format, bit rates, DSP, etc.
I record MP3 at 32kbps=30mb file that sounds almost as good as the stream.

4. On Linux just type in
vsound -d realplay

Then use RealPlayer as normal and when you exit everything you heard will be in a file called output.wav.

Have fun!

8. Ok now a slightly different question
since so many answered yours. How can one record the show on an audio tape? I drive a bunch in the summers but no station here yet. So how would I go about taping the show to listen to the following day on a tape deck in my car? Would I be able to use the mike cable?

11. To record streaming audio from the web to a cassette tape
run a line (mini-plug to mini-plug, or mini-plug to 1/4 inch, depending on your tape recorder, male on both ends) from your line out / speaker jack on your computer to your line in / microphone jack on your tape recorder.

Recording sound on a PC?

I use streambox VCR, which does a good job.

On edit: oh, and it's free...
