Ugh - received letter from Bush campaign with photo

I went to pick up my mail the other day and was taken aback when I saw a large Bush campaign envelope, I thought someone was playing a joke on me (like maybe a friend of mine who knows I don't like Bush signed me up) but for a laugh I opened it up and sure enough it was asking for a campaign donation and included was a big photograph of George Bush with his wife complete with signatures on the bottom.

Needless to say, I dumped the whole thing into the trash.

Anyone else get one of these?

Anyway, then as I looked at my other mail I noticed one from John Kerry campaign too and I thought that since I am registered voter, both of the campaigns must have got my address from that. But I don't know why Bush campaign would try to get money from me since I am a registered Democrat.

6. I spent the Memorial w/e with the in-laws

and it was on their refrigerator. I thought they were Dems but they're not politically involved. Part of me wanted to think it was a joke. Part of me was creeped out. Did they fall for it? I was afraid to ask.
