PantsOnFire mobile in Colorado!
It just finished in Pueblo and Colorado Springs, and is on it's way to Denvoid.

The PantsOnFire-mobile is coming to Denver on Tuesday, June 8 at 7 pm. Come on over to Pferdesteller Park, 33rd Avenue and Wolf Street (north of 32nd Avenue and just east of Sheridan). Kids are welcome (there is a playground in the park) to meet "George" and I.

JUNE 7 – 19 Colorado (Denver)
JUNE 20 – 26 Colorado (Boulder)
JUNE 27 – JULY 5 Colorado (Ft. Collins)
JULY 6 – 9 Colorado (Grand Junction)

1. That vehicle is so cool...I wish it was coming to California...
...I'd be proud to drive that car right past all the Hummers that the Repukes are driving around in...

Hmmm...they are scheduled to go to Eugene, OR....My Father-in-law is a retired Professor at the U of O....Maybe he'd like to drive it around or I could go up and help and work on voter registration drive at the U of O for the incoming students in Sept....

Can you hook me up?

:hi:

2. Wish I could!
I don't have any connection with the organization, (the notice was sent to me by a friend), but go ahead and write to the addy given on the website, and give it a try. You don't really have anything to lose by applying to drive it... that would be a gas, wouldn't it?? :)

Y'know, that's a really good idea to use it as a time to help registration efforts!

Let me know how it goes!

:hi:

6. the posts in the CO forum don't get responses
so I debated with myself (always a fun exercise :)) and decided to post it here.

I'm glad you'll be able to see it in the springs! I'll be looking for a report. :)

5. It's terrific! I saw it in Las Vegas a few weeks ago
On a Saturday night cruising up and down the Strip in heavy traffic. It got stuck at the traffic light at Strip/Flamingo so I got a close look.

Everyone around me was commenting about it and laughing, mostly anti-Bush except one couple who shook their heads and said, "Isn't that silly? Too much free time."

"No, not yet," I corrected them. "Free time begins in Crawford, Texas on January 21st." Predictably, they didn't say a word.
