Although I think I heard that the puke rally was private, I stood right next to where the media was keeping an ear open, and later talked with an advance person for the Kerry campaign. He said that 14,000 tickets had been issued, but there were many like us who had the ticket, but it was made out for two. I listened to the news people and they were saying 20,000+. We had a very good rally, and got put up front with the union members, so, while I didn't get to shake his hand, I was about 50 feet from our next president. They said the rally was going to kickoff at 4:30 p.m., but he didn't get there until 7:30, there were still people coming in when he got there. Our legs are killing us this morning, but, I believe it was well worth it, the wife may think a little differently though, but she's still a strong Kerry supporter, just not as deep as myself. I'm hoarse from hooting and yelling, and cheering, but I'm glad I am. We were introduced to Richard Sanders recovering republican, vietnam veterans, and state politicians. Interestingly, Kerry introduced Claire McCaskel who is running opposite of our sitting govenor Bob Holden, Jean Carnahan was there, Nancy Farmer who is running against our whiskey drunk senator bond was there, anyone who was anyone was on the stage. We took several pictures, but, we'll have to wait to get the film developed. It was a great time, Kerry gave a great speech highlighting his plans and drew boos at the mention of chimp* and assmunch. We didn't get home untill late last night and we're exhausted today, but if you've never attended one of his rallies and the chance arises go.
