It seems like in this very short time period just about everyone has either taken credit or assigned blame or washed their hands or spoken their piece. I have to agree with you, Loonman, this is going to get WAY more interesting before it's over.

FWIW, I do NOT think this is part of the BFEE master plan, I think they were taken by surprise. And I think they are scared.

U.S. officials have said much of the information about Saddam's banned weapons programs came from Chalabi's Iraqi National Congress. No major banned weapons stockpiles have been found.
