Bush meets with this new lawyer, ostensibly over the Plame matter, but who really knows what all he is trying to dodge?
Did the lawyer advise him that one of the first things he needed to do was to get rid of Tenet?
Just a question to ponder . . . seems like it fits somehow.

But I wouldn't be surprised if everyone associated with Dimbo hasn't retained one by now.

2. Nope. Only white house counsel could do that. |

The new guy is representing Bush the man, not the office of the presidency--an important distinction, and the only reason Bush would ever need a private attorney.

3. Timing is right. Logic is wrong. |

Tenet knows too much. If you were * how confident would you be that Tenet would stay quiet.
I find persuasive: 1. Cumulative effect of wrong intelligence. 2. Forthcoming Senate Report. 3. Abu Grahib scandal coming back up the pipe.
Tenet got out ahead of the shit storm. It's just misting now.
