The Laramie Project is on HBO tonight

While not exactly uplifting this is a tremendously well done movie about the Matthew Sheppard case. It runs from 7pm to 845pm tonight. If you haven't seen it, watch it. If you have, you might want to watch it again. HBO is probably the best movie studio out there at the moment and this movie is no exception.

2. I never got to see the play live

and would love to get that chance, though I probably would cry through the whole last act like I did when I saw the film.

They're often "on the leading edge", and I seem to remember that this was the first place to have the play pressented.

I'm much more affected by the stage anyway, so to me, at least, it was very powerful. Haven't seen the film, and don't have HBO, so I will miss the film version.

I don't know where you're located, but I sure hope you will be able to see it on stage at some point. It's amazingly well done!

7. I have watched it twice

cried my eyes out both times. It is a terrific film like the overwhelming majority of HBO films. It also takes a toll.
