That's a fairly long tenure for a CIA Chief, and by most accounts, he was leaving anyway after the election.

Curiouser and curiouser. "Personal reasons", my ass.

1. VERY personal reasons....

'DEVESTATING' SENATE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE REPORT:
Linda Douglass reports that according to two senior
sources familiar with the Senate Intelligence
Committee's report on pre-war intelligence failures
yet to be released, findings are "devastating" for
Tenet. Democratic sources confirm Tenet was losing
support among Democrats because of the conclusions
reached by this report. One Republican source
predicted Wednesday Tenet might resign before it is
released. The report is currently being declassified
by the CIA and is expected to be made public on June
17.

4. Nlighten1, of course it won't affect Bush. His ASS is covered
You can count on that. Others will pay for his mistakes. He doesn't have to take responsibility for his mistakes since he's a Bush and he's a Christian and he's compassionate and he's Republican.
ELECT KERRY 2004!!!!

6. I think you are probably right.
Reagan and Bush 41 slipped through the noose in the 80's. But then, their crimes look like mere masturbation compared to what Dimson has done.

7. I thought the same thing
The only way to me it would look good for Bush is if he was fired. But this "superb" (apparently shrubie only has one adjective) director has other plans.

I just don't see it playing for Bushie because if he resigned for personal reasons, how is that Bushie blaming him for anything? What he's gonna say when the report comes out-oh I would have fired him? How freaking lame is that?

It just shows that they never have the balls or judgement to fire anyone for anything.

As I said in another post, when I quit a job for "personal reasons" it was because I despised my boss and hated the company.

But hey why use common sense? Nothing makes sense anymore!
