Bush talks to a lawyer, Tenet quits, Plame is back in the news. Bush sounded VERY worried today when he announced that Tenet was leaving.

"just as Bush was leaving the country"....I wonder if this is the signal for the "terrorist attack" we have been promised by Bush. Remember, he said if he were a terrorist he would attack now with our elections coming, etc. Maybe Tenent knows it's going down and wants out of the way. Maybe Bush is using pushing Tenent out so that when flack starts hitting his way because we were attacked, he can again blame it on Tenent and say, "well, because Tenent bailed out on the country at such a sensitive time, it happened". I just don't trust these slime at all.

19. The last time he dropped a bombshell and left the country

was last July when he went to Africa and said right before leaving that the Niger yellowcake statement was a "misspoken" statement. He expected the story to die out while he was away.

Now they are trying this bad play again. I don't get these guys, if a play doesn't work, why keep that play in the playbook?
