It was due out today. And CNN barely mentioned it with all the OTHER news going on. LOL! But maybe Faux News is talking about it every hour on the hour.

Poor wittle things!

1. Work of fiction, right?
Edited on Thu Jun-03-04 04:03 PM by DarkPhenyx
Considering every intelligence agency in the world has said w/o equivocation that there is absolutley no link between the two this book must be a work of fiction.

An argument I heard once was that some Al-Queda fighter who was injured in Afghanistan received medical treatment in Baghdad. So to the freeps that proves Saddam and Bin Laden were working together.

Pinchi freepers.

7. That would be al-Zarqawi <sp>...
...who had his leg blown off, was subsequently killed, but then went on to cut off Nick Bergs head and blow stuff up. He was based in Northern Iraq, protected by our "no fly" zones, and Bush refused to go after him because he thought it would hurt his case for war. Yeah, whatever, the freeptards should go fuck themselves before the irrate public does it for them...

2. There is a new book
by I think, Stephen Hayes,, inferring an Al Quaeda/Iraq connection... I read a review of it in the WP, and the reviewer says more questions than answered, and doesn't quite make the case

He is a Whore First Class. Trained by Rupert Murdoch. Pond scum of the lowest order. This says something about his employer, too.

11. Basic Questions to Ask about Bin Laden & Hussein Connection
-If Saddam wanted so hard to work with Al Qaeda, why weren't any of them in his regime? Not even as advisors?

-Why were there no Shari'a laws in Iraq? That would be the least that Al Qaeda would insist on.

-Why were there no mullahs in any positions of power?

-Why would Osama deal with a man who embodied everything he hated to see in Arabs - alcohol drinker, womanizer, cigar smoker, false follower of Islam, blasphemer, repressor of Islamic practices.

-Why has no terrorist act done by Muslim extremists ever been traced back to Iraq? Before you mention the payment to Palestinian suicide bombers, remember that no Iraqi was ever implicated and there is no proof that the money ever made it into Palestine.

-Why is it that all of this incarceration and torture of Iraqi citizens and former Ba'athists yielded exactly ZERO evidence of Al Qaeda activity. And beleive me, it would be trumpeted from the WH rooftop (and FAUX news, 24/7) if any evidence HAD surfaced. And this maladministration has no qualms declassifying documents if it makes them look good.

-And finally, why look for them in Iraq when there is overwhelming evidence that Al Qaeda is in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Morocco, Egypt, etc. The basic rule of warfare (war on terror included) is seek your enemy WHERE YOU KNOW HE IS.

I'm sure it will be debunked within a few weeks. These things always are.
