he's going to do a booktalk in Chicago Saturday, and I'm going to go film it

didn't get to say much, other than ask him if he thought the timing of his resignation was designed to divert attention from dumbo's "lawyering up," as Wilson described it.....ha; saw the thread here

one thing I was going to do, but they cut me off, was to tell Wilson to come to DU.com and see the myriad discussions of the two subjects

he declined to comment on this sensitive topic, cause of his wife's (and his own) close connection

I'll go back and paraphrase what they talked about, and what I said

I did thank him "from the bottom of my heart" (I think....dopey, but I meant it), and that there are THOUSANDS, maybe MILLIONS of Americans who feel the same way, and that these two events could be a watershed, in that it could signal the end of the junta.

I didn't say junta, but I did use the word "watershed"

I haven't felt this great since......can't even remember!!!

EDIT: one of the cooler things he said was that veep's office was either incompetent or lying about knowledge of this fiasco, and he was quite certain they aren't imcompetent

that was after they cut me off, I think, and I wanted to argue that point, cause they're clearly, in many ways, BY FAR the most incompetent bunch of ideological loser thug creep mendacios that have existed since Weimar.....wait a minute, til Hitler let his insanity blossom during WWII, they weren't incompetent at all....sorta like these jerks.....their incompetence didn't become apparent til they tried to exercise power; then it became obvious
