Air Force Academy Bush picture

If anyone saw Bush giving his speech at the AF Academy yesterday and/or has seen the picture of Bush on the lucianne.com site today could you tell me what the hell was going on please. It is funny and he does look absolutely falling-down drunk, but does anyone know what happened? Thanks in advance.

6. Flipping channels this morning

I caught a tidbit on the morning news shows. He was goofing around with all of the cadets, doing all sorts of weird handshakes and silly moves. The host were laughing like it was just so cute.

However, it certainly was NOT presidential nor appropriate for the occasion. I would hate to have my graduation ruined by such silliness. Well, him just being there would be enough to ruin it.

7. Nervous

Some people act silly when they are nervous. He has a lot to be nervous about.

On second thought, I read in "American Dynasty" that Bush acts like a frat boy and pulls a lot of stupid pranks. Apparently his father did the same thing. Maybe, when he seemed less vulnerable, the press just hid his silly side from us.

10. Naw.. it's part of Rove's Charm Offensive..

have you noticed that most of the photos coming out lately have him laughing, making just-oh-so-precious faces, etc? It's planned, folks. They failed miserably with trying to make him seem presidential, now they're going "likable", because Kerry polls so disappointingly in likability, trustworthyness, and fun.

Kerry's folks need to heed the call and start softening Kerry up a bit. I read Ted Rall's commentary the other day, and Kerry needs to work at being more like Howard Dean or Bill Clinton.. he has very little appeal for the younger voters, and very little for the bbq/dirt bike crowd. It's not true that Kerry is any less likable.. BUT it is all in the perception of Kerry that matters. Style over substance, it's the American way!!

Bush is just working it.. because Rove is a freakin' genius, and American's are generally fairly stupid.
