It is an absolute embarrassment to this republic that Robert Novak is not languishing in some prison cell at this very moment.

They subpoena Tim Russert and some hack from the New York Times but Novak is left untouched to spout inane RNC talking points on national television!

Susan McDougal got 22 months of her life stolen for refusing to espouse the lies Ken Starr tried to shove into her mouth but this douche bag (thank you Jon Stewart for the appropriate label) is untouchable!!!!

I am all too familiar with that mug shot.

Karl hit the story hard after Novak leaked the treason. It would seem though, that the machine got Dick Cheney's office to actually conduct the dirty work. Rove is smarter - and, less possessed of a human soul - than the rest of Bushco. He will come out of this spotless. But Novak claims to be a journalist. He knew what he was doing was criminal. If a Democrat had done it, he would be howling for their immediate execution. Novak's crime is worse, but only because he chose to sleep in the same bed as the devil.

if someone.... somewhere... somehow... could take Rove down, the house of cards would fall in upon itself. It's precariously close now. With Rove gone, the elite media would no longer be issued its marching orders.
