is the fault of one man. All the beauty in these images is the result of one world, united against that man.

It's the beauty of the girl on the bicycle, and the flag of peace, that moves me the most.

It is the anger and brutality expressed by the masked demonstrators and the police that move me to action.

Both types of images are compelling. Both types of images should lead us out of this war.

4. The last picture is not right!

The people to the right of the man in white by the policeman, they are too small to be there. Is it a poster or what? It is visually impossible for them to be so small compared to the forground and background.

and the photo looks like it was taken with a long zoom lens. Flat perspective often looks "wrong" because our eyes and brain don't work that way.

6. Why do people protest in other countries and this country?

Protesting means nothing to Emperor Bush. This country did not wish to go to war but the chimp simply waved them off as some focus group.

The only thing that works is voting and holding politicians accountable, either in primaries or the general election. It is our choice who represents us.

Protesting accomplishes MUCH. How else would someone like me, who works hard at the day/night jobs and rarely gets the opportunity to practice civil disobedience understant that I AM NOT ALONE?

Photos like this stir my soul, wuushew. Of course I'm voting, I've never missed an election... but photos like these inspire me, and make me feel a true part of the Global Community... something Bush has been fighting against since January 2001.

12. Of course it is therapeutic

as are many things. How is inhaling tear gas and being baton-ed more enjoyable than gardening or hiking?

This accomplishes nothing practical as George Bush already has committed massive war crimes for over a year in Iraq. These demonstrations are not events designed to sway public opinion as the vast number of Europeans already oppose war.

What would impress me more is ridding Italy of that asshole Berlusconi and following a Spanish style pullout which is far more important to Bush than a bunch of protesters.

Don't you think it would be trickier for us Americans to defeat Bush if he, in fact, owned the media? I mean, owned it, his damned self. Owner, operator, proprietor...

I follow Italian politics quite closely; I love the country, and am employed by a native Italian who is no fan of Silvio "L'Americano" Berlusconi.

The fact that Berlusconi is rapidly rising to be Europe's next despot makes these protests by the Italian public all the more gripping, and risky.

A bottle of Moretti for each of them! Brava!!!
