This week on NOW:
http://www.pbs.org/now/thisweek/index.htmlAs the nation commemorates the 60th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, NOW with Bill Moyers rebroadcasts a special one-hour edition that looks back on the honor, bravery and patriotism of what's become known as "the greatest generation." "D-Day Reunion" brings together four WWII veterans to talk with Bill Moyers about their memories, their values and their commitment to America. The program includes portions of "From D-Day to the Rhine," a~documentary by Award-winning filmmaker David Grubin and Bill Moyers that originally aired in 1990, which follows these four veterans as well as some of their comrades back to France, from the shores of Normandy, to the site of the Battle of the Bulge, and to the banks of the Rhine. Returning to Europe, many for the first time since the war, the men speak about their wartime experiences, some of them unlocking memories they had been keeping inside for decades.
