Tasteless Raygun croaking thread
Edited on Sat Jun-05-04 03:05 AM by librechik
he kicked thousands of poor people off food stamps and welfare. He saddled & threatened us with Star Wars. Thousands killed in Central America for what? Cocaine for weapons. Rat off your friends in Hollywood for political advantage. Trickle down!

Eff that Crazy Effer! and his stupid greedy crazy Newt Gingrich followers!

I don't care when that rich effer dies. When will there be justice for the people?

Vent, peons.

7. My mother was on Social Security disability at the time
She was kicked off with no notice & confined to a wheel chair. It took 3 years of legal battles to get it back for her. What would she have done if she did not have any kids to take care of her during that period?

It amazes me that some of the people here ridicule us for not wanting to respect this mans death! I should also note that I lost 2 relatives in the Bruit bombing.

He can kiss my lilly white ass & so can anyone else that tells me I should be respectful!

8. What does eff mean?
Say what you mean.

As for your message Democrats got really smug. They ran on the past that had played out.
In 1984 Democrats were not only broke, but in hock from 1982. They ran bad candidates like Mondale and Dukakus.

Today is better. We are united and we will win. Terry M. has reformed the party. He found $10 million for a new party headquarters. He has a data base of 150 million past Dem contributors. This is good news.

Reagan is the past. No one will care if he dies.

11. When I hear the word Terrorism
as it is bandied about with such frequency today and it's roots in our modern world, when I search my memory for a definition I can grasp, I think of US policy in Central America under reagan.

My wife is from there as is her family......we got MOST of them out.

12. Some truth
Ronald Reagan is alive but forgetting things.
If we can forget fast enough, we will, at last,
be able to live in the eternal present, having
no past nor future - 100% guilt-free,
without plans, budgets, debts or regrets.
Someone will take care of us - maybe the Government,
for hasn't the Government always taken care
of the People? Ronald Reagan, of course, preached
self-reliance, but Ronald Reagan probably
isn't allowed to go for a walk alone now
lest he get confused - all those Pacific Palisades
mansions look pretty much alike.

won't remember all the pain he caused for so many people.

Great poem by the way. Loved it in it's entirety. :)

Let's not forget that Reagan laid a wreath on the graves of Hitler's Waffen-SS and called them just more victims of the war.

22. Thinking of Reagan before he was gov CA
Edited on Sat Jun-05-04 08:25 AM by JellyBean1
He was some rah-rah poster guy for the propaganda corps of the army. Then how he ratted-out movie stars to advance himself during the blacklisting days in Hollywood.

Then he was used to glorify war for the lead in to Vietnam and manipulating Ward and June Cleaver into sending little Beaver into that meat grinder.

I am with you librechik. Reagan has always been a a-hole. Pimping for the moneyed interests.

It amazes me how memory can be morphed to make people into something they never were. Look at all the roads, airports and parks named after that jerk.

Good riddance to the bum. No tears at this end for Reagan.

Fuck Ronald Reagan. I'd piss on his grave if given the opportunity.

25. What Reagan helped do to Central America was a major crime.
I don't pitty murderers when they die. Did anyone feel sorry for Nixon? They shouldn't have after he needlessly killed 600,000 Cambodian civillians.

28. Regardless, Reagan said that Efrain Rios Montt was getting "a bum rap"
and said that he was a great proponent of freedom.

I don't care whether he ordered it or not, though I think he did because he was a lot more in charge than people thought. I care that he was complicit at the very least in the deaths of tens, if not hundreds, of thousands.

29. Good point
Reagan didn't seem to have it all there after being in the hospital when Hinkley shot him.

It has been suggested Bush I was running the show after Reagan "recovered".

It has also been suggested what Reagan was hit with was a 'special' doped ammo that effects the mind. Thus whatever he had upstairs before being shot was gone after he recovered.

Of course, this is all :tinfoilhat:
