3. Damn, just watching both families involved in both horses...
Smarty Jones and Birdstone, both of them have a lot of class. The owner of the winning horse was very elequent about feeling both sad and happy and saying how much they loved Smarty Jones. The owners of Smarty Jones were equally as elequent about Birdstone and their owners.

5. Even Birdstone's jockey was apologetic......
Said he was sorry to have been the one to beat Smarty, but said it was his job to win and that was the nature of the business.

I liked him a lot for saying that...
