When news comes down about Clinton's death, the Freepers are going to have orgies in the street. Such hypocrisy. Celebrate Reagan's death if that is what you are feeling. Mourn him if that is what you are feeling. But most of all ignore those who give a holier than thou speech about honoring the dead. Ick. There is no honor in politics anyways.

If somebody celebrates Reagan's death in front of me I will rebuke them and lecture them. I disapprove of that kind of stuff.

If somebody celebrates Bill Clinton or Al Gore's death in front of me I will make sure that they lose several teeth, and I will defend that action in front of any bar of justice.

Of what the freeps might do at some theoretical point in the future if x event should happen. That's an interesting way of looking at things, to say the least.

Personally, I find it disgusting the way so many people at a liberal message board are tap-dancing and shooting fireworks into the air because a fellow human being, who had actual living, breathing loved ones, died an awful death today. I'm glad it's not a majority of people here, but it's too damn close for comfort.

I thought Reagan was the worst president ever. Until Bush 41 came along. And I thought 41 was bad until 43 came along. Now, certainly 43 will never be exceeded in vileness. Right?

Well, I'm not so sure, if the commentary I've witnessed today represents the side of peace and love and all things good and liberal.

It's a sad day alright, but not just for the reasons the freepers think.

6. But it's NOT Clinton we're talking about

Clinton didn't disparage government and seek to make life harder for millions of people. Clinton didn't sell arms for hostages and use the proceeds to fund illegal arms for Nicaraguan terrorists in defiance of congress. Clinton didn't terminate the air traffic controllers and demonize welfare recipients and talk about how there were so many jobs in the employment classifieds. Clinton didn't do a lot of things I could go on about regarding Reagan.

I'm inclined to cut his family some slack before I start bad-mouthing him again, but he has it fucking coming. The GOP is going to come out swinging on this, calling for canonization as the man who "defeated communism", and I won't stand for it. This man was not an "amiable dunce:" he was a menace.

He made a few mistakes but overall he helped people.
