What creeped you out about Reagan?
The way that he called Nancy "Mommy" gave me the creeps.

If my Dad had ever called my Mom "Mommy" she would have hit him.

2. His black soul.
He told "jokes" that were almost always mean spirited; media enablers loved to say how funny and charming he was.

9. What creeped me out the most...................
was the fact that the doddering old fool had the launch codes at his fingertips. That and his John Wayne tough guy image all the while crying for "Mommy" and being an insecure, confused and senile old man.

14. He looked like Howdy Doody and he had to much John Wayne in him.
Hated Commies. He was living in the fifties. He was a backlash to the sixties. He was just plain creepy. Then there was Nancy....

15. Realizing now that most of his minions are Bush's minions
Being on this board has been a real education. I am not a stupid person...but in politics.... after all I have read over the last couple of months.... I would be getting an F for the reagan years, Bush I years.....etc....

He beguiled me. I partied. I had no clue.

Looking at all the names then and all the names now associated with Bush.....is incredibly scary......was at hardees and saw a little CNN piece.... I had no idea Reagans mother was fundie......

Gawd...now I understand why so many have been propoganized by media...

being on this board is a real eye opener....

I had many of the feelings of Bush and Hitler...and found solace that others were thinking the same things... but finding out all this other stuff...

There are some real history buffs here... .who can find the links and information quickly.......

these minions have been around a long time destroying the heart of this country....

We need courses in politics in our schools..... we studied the settling over and over and over.....never go to modern history.....

I need about 10 years of history and government....although the text books would not probably be as educating as all of you....

I thank you.....this is incredible and sad to realize

16. He always seemed a little stupid and off topic.
His silly choreographed jokes were usually pretty lame and didn't make up for his lack of knowledge about what the heck was going on in the world and domestically.

I now believe that early Alzheimers was affecting him from day one of his presidency. He was a puppet much like the current one, although I believe Reagan started out with higher intellectual ability and a more humane nature. He ended up how he ended up.

20. The hypocrisy - and - taking credit for the fall of communism - and - the.
set-up and operation of a secret sub-government.

Hit the people where it hurts and then smile and joke and have all kinds of people love you and call you a saint.

In remembering it all now, I feel as rotten as I do under the Bush cabal.
