2. This is the interview where Drudge reported that he said
he supports what the FCC is doing and is for regulating/censoring broadcast tv. I hope this isn't true cause it could be a deal breaker for me.

I think its more likely that his statements are more open to interpretation cause its a difficult issue for a politician to deal with. But this issue is important to me so Ill be listening carefully.

Thanks for the heads-up.

6. Thats fine with me as long its just talk.
But if he's for actually giving the FCC more power to censor tv and radio then, well, he may just lose my vote.

5. Definitely. He said something like it is a matter of balance. He left
it open, and subject to examination... IIRC

8. Im hoping he means that broadcasters need to do a better job
juidging whats appropriate for certains times; I can live with that. But governament fining millions of dollars and revoking licenses has got to be out of the question. Ill have to look at the interview myself on cspan and try to figure out what he means.

3. He is reading "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Garcia-Marquez!
and "Perfectly Legal" about the tax code....
I ordered "Perfectly Legal" after I watched PBS's program this week about Corporate evasion of taxes. I was pissed beyond belief!
And I LOVE Garcia-Marquez. However, if he is trying to read this while he travels, he is going to get totally confused. Garcia-Marquez has a family where all the men have the same name with "first" "second" "third"... it gets really confusing if you are not alert.
