He was pretty much satisfied to have a roof over his head and a meal he could count on. He worked hard from the time he was a teenager. He didn't ask for anything from anyone and always offered a willing hand to someone else in need. He was 48 years old. A million RRs or a gazillion *s couldn't replace this one man, power and ceremony added.

Is that when Reagan was in office, we still had a semi-independent media and they could be damn tough on him, especially during Iran-Contra.

It is idol worship and it shows you what a joke our media has become. I'm trying to keep my rage under control. It's hard, though, because no other view is presented. At least we have each other, it was so hard during the Reagan years when I felt all alone-especially being young and caring about politics then and my peers not being the same.
