I'm in my office, ten minutes from Reagan's services
One of my co-workers wants to file by the casket and I don't give a shit. It reminds me of how polarized this country is and how bad it makes me feel. I have watched every state funeral since JFK was shot, including Nixon's. I just can't watch Reagan's service because he did so much damage to this country and the damage he wrought goes on and on and on. If Jimmy Carter's service was ten minutes away, I would have called in sick to file by his casket.

1. I think you should go!
I'm planning to stand in line in DC... just to make sure the bastard's really dead.

And it is history in the present tense.

2. I heard the traffic is nuts. And the 118 and 23 are bad even on good days
Moorpark College is running shuttle vans. I hope to God I don't have to anywhere near there for any reason this week. I won't even go to Thousand Oaks and I live just over the hill.

3. I wouldn't go if he were 1 minute away.
His library is close to Magic Mountain. I'd rather spend the time there.

What ever happens to you after you are dead, it's happened to Reagan. In about a month you can drive down Reagan Blvd, past the Reagan Bldg. on your way to Reagan Middle School.

Some nuts will want his bust on Mt Rushmore. Freepers will have Saint Ronnie holy cards made up to give all their friends.

There will be wing nut history articles that will have acutual proof that the country will turn conservative just becausee of Reagan nastalgia.

Me, I'll just wait till it all passes. Personlly I don't give a shit about him.

4. They're about an hour apart, but you're right about the naming
Because to get to the Reagan Library you have to take the Reagan Freeway. :eyes:
