as graphic artists. ;-) You can tell by how neatly they lettered the signs, using the same style fonts in each sign, just varying the colors and orders of the words. In other words, someone stuck the signs in their hands and told them they could have ice cream after the nice man took the picture.

And as for their parents making the signs and putting it in their hands, how is that any different than the signs I have given my daughter to hold in protests and rallies? She held one that read, "How many more soldiers have to die?" back in March on the anniversary of the immoral and unjust invasion of Iraq.

I'm raising her to be a good liberal.

But then again, she IS allowed to think for herself. That might be a major difference...
