Which is More Threatening to the Ruling Class: Gore's Speech or CA Recall?
You might think the Powers that Be would find the CA recall more threatening, though it targets a Democrat and the favorite Republican can't become president (unless the Constitution is about to be totally trashed). The recall is careening toward the edge of the abyss, dragging democracy as we once knew it from behind. But the media, that organ of the corporatocracy, is approaching the recall like a child with a finger up its nose. But when Gore calls the Bushists on their lies to an audience of 600 activists at NYU, the media are ready to hurl every dog-eared epithet they hurled at Gore in 2000 all over again, labelling him marginalized and pretending he's some wild-eyed radical or a poseur among the fringe-folk.

WTF is going on in my country?
