Why is the black community so silent?
Ronald Reagan was a racist who lied to create the illusion of massive welfare fraud by black people. He talked about women having dozens of children to get bigger welfare checks so they could drive around in Cadillacs. He destroyed affirmative action, cut programs to help the homeless, and cut education programs. His economic plan shifted wealth from the poor to the wealthy, and by and larger did nothing for urban areas.

I just do not understand why black leaders are not challenging the myth of Reagan being foisted by the media and political leaders. In fact, where has the black leadership been? Are they so moderate that they can't even make the news?

1. Maybe because we would like to get the man in the ground first. . .
. . .just a thought. You must remember a lot of Black leadership are clergy and they know a thing or two about respect.

3. But I think we will eventually be hearing from Rev's Sharpton and Jackson
at some point, and I don't think they will sugarcoat it when the time comes.

. . .I have been biting my tongue as well. Their words DELIVERED AT THE RIGHT FUCKING TIME will have an impact. . .those same words this week would have no impact and would hurt them.

2. Roger Wilkins was on News Hour
And made excellent points about those things you mention. The other panelists didn't even have a response. I guess that the "black leaders" are just trying to be respectful.
